Iconic Taiwanese breakfast place. They got plenty of staple breakfast foods. Sadly over the years, inflation has caused the prices to go up by quite a bit.

This is the standard I compare all Taiwanese breakfast places too. It'd hold up well in Taiwan. They also have, what I consider to be, the pinnacle of fan tuans. So in addition to your normal fare of pork floss, fried cruller and pickled vegetables, you can add egg in here. Tea egg or an omelet. Your omelet could have onions in it too. It comes out to be this big fat boi, and I love it. Have I had better? Of course. In this small mom and pop shop in Taiwan. Where you're basically eating in their kitchen. But other than that ONE place. Four Sea wins almost every time.

Taiwanese breakfast! You order and pay up front for hot food and also pastries. Very much a cafeteria vibe though they do bring out your hot food to your table along with any plates and silverware you need. Staff were friendly and responsive. Really enjoyed the different egg crepes, pan fried radish cake, rice rolls, and soy milk with fried crullers. The baked black sesame pastry and egg yolk pastries were also good. Skip the xiao long bao and dumplings here.

Great place to have famous Taiwanese style breakfast. Tabletop adhesiveness is a feature that adds to its authenticity.

Nice solid no frills taiwanese breakfast joint! Best item we tried was the bean curd with braised flavor. The radish cakes with egg was a close second. We also got non-sweetened soy milk and peanut-soy milk, with a side of Chinese donut aka 油条(i swear these things get translated 10 different ways,my favorite is the literal one, oil-sticks). Compared to Yi mei in Rowland this one feels a bit cleaner. Nice ladies at the register, bare tables shared with two other families, what more ambience can you ask for. Authentic breakfast experience!

Radish cake's wayyyyyyyy toooooooo delicious! I've never seen any making of radish cake like this, crisp and brown outside and absolutely tender and aromatic in your mouth. *Photo added on Dec 6th.

Fast, delicious and cheap. Servers are good at making sure they give you the correct order. Suggestion: fried turnip cakes well done to get that crispy crust and soft delicious insides. Salty rice roll with hard boiled egg and pickled veggies, so good. Making me hungry now, might need to go back and pick up one.

  • The Onion Egg in Flaky Oven Baked Bun stands out as a personal favorite. The contrast of flaky texture filled with scrambled eggs bursts with flavor, making each bite a marvelous experience.
